Find hard-to-locate theme translations

Theme translations can become difficult to manage because themes may contain hundreds of translatable strings. EAT’s Manual Translations interface lets you narrow your search by Language → Store section → Theme template → Search. This makes it easier to identify the exact storefront content you want to review.

AI, bulk and manual theme translation

You can use different translation workflows depending on the content. Use AI or bulk translation when processing larger amounts of theme content. Use Manual Translations when you know the exact copy you want or when you need to refine an existing translation.

Use this when Shopify exposes the text as a standard translatable theme resource.

Custom Translation

Use Custom Translations when the text comes from hardcoded theme code, Custom Liquid or another source that does not appear in the standard resource list.

Why can’t I find a particular piece of text?

It may belong to another Shopify resource, an app widget, hardcoded theme code or Custom Liquid. In those cases, check App Widgets or Custom Translations.

Can I manually edit a theme translation?

Yes. Manual Translations lets you review and change translated storefront text

Can I bulk translate theme content?
