Luna Tea is a tea brand offering carefully curated blends designed to create a calming and enjoyable tea experience. The brand already had an existing Squarespace website and wanted to move to Shopify while preserving the look and feel their customers were already familiar with.
The Challenge
The client wanted to migrate their existing Squarespace website to Shopify while keeping most of the original website structure and content intact.
Key requirements included:
- Recreating the existing Squarespace website on Shopify
- Preserving the brand’s existing layout and visual identity
- Migrating products into their correct collections
- Migrating customer reviews into Shopify using Judge.me
- Creating and uploading 301 redirects from old URLs to new Shopify URLs
- Ensuring the website remained responsive across desktop and mobile devices
Our Solution
We rebuilt the website on Shopify while carefully transferring the client’s existing content and store data:
- Created the complete Shopify store structure
- Recreated most of the previous Squarespace website within Shopify
- Migrated products and organized them into their respective collections
- Transferred customer reviews into the new store
- Ensured the website remained responsive across desktop and mobile devices
- Uploaded and adjusted review data, including handling incomplete review entries provided by the client
- Created and implemented 301 redirects to preserve existing URLs and SEO performance
