Getting your Google Translate API Key

Learn how to create your own API key, topping up your Google Translate account.

Do NOT share your API key with anyone!

Step 1: Go to Google Cloud Console

 https://console.cloud.google.com/

Sign in with your Google account.

Step 2: Create a Project

  • Click the project dropdown (top left)
  • Click New Project
  • Name it
  • Click Create

Step 3: Enable Cloud Translation API

  • Go to APIs & Services → Library
  • Search for Cloud Translation API
  • Click Enable

Step 4: Create API Key

  • Go to APIs & Services → Credentials
  • Click Create Credentials
  • Choose API key

Your API key will be generated.

Copy and paste it on the API key field within the Easy Advanced Translations app.
